About me

Genealogist and Private eye

I am a genealogist living in Dublin. I started researching my own family sixteen years ago. I am fascinated by history and research, which for me is a labour of love now. I have completed many online courses and made many contacts. I have researched for many clients in the USA, the UK and Ireland.

Are you trying to get Irish Citizenship and need research completed to prove it?

“I made contact with Cath via a Genealogy site on Facebook! She has been so helpful & had worked hard to find out all the facts I have. Without asking Cath and started a family tree for me of information she had found & sent off for some certificates!! Could not recommend her anymore! Thank you so much Cath” More reviews on Client reviews page.

The past is not dead – it isn’t even the past

If you don’t recount your family history, it will be lost. Honor your own stories and tell them too. The tales may not seem very important, but they are what binds families and makes each of us who we are.

If your family members won’t talk about a particular relative, a seasoned genealogist knows they are keeping mum about something very interesting.

If at first you don’t succeed, search, search again. That is why we call it re-search.

“My family tree has many branches, both living and dead… but all equally important. I cherish the memories that make its roots run deep.” —Lynda I Fisher

We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise. – Edward Sellner

"If you don’t know history, you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree."
